About the Role:

Residential Services manage a portfolio of owned and leased student residential accommodation, as well as arms-length accommodation provision arrangements with a number of private accommodation providers. The service manages year round student residential stays, as well as visiting commercial residential bookings including summer schools. We typically house those that want our accommodation for an academic year and then support all students with sourcing ongoing private sector accommodation for subsequent years of study.

You will have a Degree and appropriate level of experience and evidence of continuing development relevant to the role or part qualified in a relevant professional qualification and be able to demonstrate relevant experience.

As a key part of the Residential Services Management team, the successful candidate will manage the provision of a range of housing support activities associated with the enhancement of the student residential accommodation experience, including house hunting and advice activities, event organisation, and the management of relationships with third party and private sector accommodation providers. This post will involve some out of hours and weekend work, including Open Days and arrivals and departures weekends, as well as participation in a cross campus on call response rota.
