Brasenose College seeks to appoint a full-time Graduate Administrator from 20th March 2023 to 24th March 2024 to cover maternity leave. This is a senior administrative position in the College, suitable for candidates who have held administrative responsibilities in an academic or academic-related environment, who will enjoy working collaboratively with students, other members of administrative staff, and Fellows and other academics of the College.

The Graduate Administrator will be primarily responsible for the administration and management of the College’s academic support services to graduate students. They will also lead on a variety of projects, including the organisation of graduation ceremonies and receptions during the year, and assist with the coordination of welfare support for complex student cases. The Graduate Administrator will assist and on occasion deputise for the College Academic Administrator, and also provide a high level of administrative support to the Senior Tutor and Tutor for Graduates.

The successful candidate must be educated ideally to degree level (or possess equivalent work-related experience), have excellent communication skills, be highly IT literate and have a keen eye for detail. You must also be adept at workload management, be very well organised and possess a highly systematic approach to work.

The appointment, which is pensionable, will be made on the University Grade 7 scale (£34,308 to £42,155pa), depending on previous related experience.
