Teaching Personnel are looking for mental health support workers in Bath to join a wonderful school who caters for pupils who face social, emotional and mental health challenges. The school is separated into two sites, one for primary ages and one for secondary ages. All classes in the school are small and holds 6-12 pupils. As a mental health support worker, you will help the clasroom teacher by keeping pupils engaged in their learning, doing 1:1 work with a student where necessary and be a good example of how to complete tasks.

As mentioned above, this is a school for those with emotional and mental health needs. Many students in this school have faced adversity in the past such as trauma and face significant barriers to learning. They can be highly disruptive and display challenging behaviour so confidence in behaviour management is essential.

We are looking for a mental health support worker who:
- Can support pupils with their learning through interaction and play
- Is resilient, empathetic and confident
- Can provide a calm presence in the classroom
- Has a genuine desire to help the most vulnerable young pupils in their community
- Past experience is not essential, but you must have a desire to help and be proactive!

In return we can offer our mental health support workers:
- Your very own consultant to support you through every step of your journey to be the best mental health support worker you can be.
- £340-£350 paid to you weekly, every friday (no umbrella companies or fees)
- Access to countless CPD courses to help elevate your career, including Team Teach!

If you are resilient, empathetic, patient with a desire to help the vulnerable young people in your community, then please get in touch with Helin as soon as possible!

In the meantime, please have a look at our Google reviews :)

I look forward to hearing from you.
