An exciting opportunity exists to join the team of the Research & Innovation Service. Reporting to the Head of Research and Innovation Culture, the Academic Researcher Development Manager is a new role, helping to lead improvements to the support for academic development and training and enhance the research culture and environment at the University.
You will have a proven track record of supporting and management of training and development programmes or equivalent. You will have an excellent understanding of training needs analysis across a broad range of stakeholders and be able to design attractive and fit-for-purpose development programmes for academics. You’ll also be highly numerate and adept at analysing and interpreting data for a range of different audiences, and able to develop excellent and effective working relationships with colleagues across the University.
We offer an excellent employment package including hybrid working, blending a mix of remote and on-campus working (dependent on work duties).
