We invite applications for the position of Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Oxford Saïd Business School reporting to Dr Amir Amel-Zadeh (PI).


You will be a member of the newly created research initiative focusing on sustainability measurement, ESG metrics and sustainable investment. You will design and deliver research and impact on sustainability measurement, relating to ESG (environmental, social, governance) metrics, corporate reporting and their use in sustainable investments.


You will form part of a newly established research team, lead independent research and provide day-to-day research direction to research assistants where necessary.

You will lead your own research stream in the area of ESG reporting and sustainable finance and investment, as well as work alongside the wider research programme examining sustainability reporting and sustainable finance more broadly.

To be considered for this role you will need to hold a relevant doctorate in accounting, finance, economics or related discipline


You will need to demonstrate excellent aptitude for desk-based research as well as working with large financial and ESG related datasets and have ability to contribute ideas for new research projects and research income generation. Furthermore you will need experience of effectively managing relationships with academic and admin colleagues.
